Clearly communicate risks in excavated areas

Excavation Tags enable you to increase workplace safety and compliance with EU Directive 92/57/EEC by communicating vital information at excavation entrances where it can be seen by all workers.

Complying with EU Directive 92/57/EEC on minimum safety requirements for excavations becomes easier with the Excavation Tags. On the tags' removable inserts, the following information can be added:

• date of inspection
• inspector's signature
• location of the excavation
• description of the excavation
• which utility services are present (plumbing, water main, electricity cables, ...)
• which safety equipment to wear in the excavation
• specific health and safety actions to take
• who to contact if work cannot be carried out safely
• name of the inspector
• date of excavation

When the insert is removed, a clear 'do not enter' message becomes visible on the empty holder, attached to the excavation.
